The Manual “Career Offices” is presented to the students of the Faculty of Law

After the several month work by the Center for Legal Empowerment and 3 students of the Faculty of Law on the “Career Planning Offices” initiative, the final manual was presented to the students and the vice dean of the Faculty of Law at the University of Tirana.

On Tuesday, December 20, in the premises of FDUT, in front of the students of the Faculty of Law and in the presence of the Deputy Dean Erjon Muharremaj and the Executive Director of CLE, Mr. Franc Terihati, the students participating in this project made a presentation of the work they have done during this period.

During the activity, the students were first introduced to the Career Planning Offices, the work of these offices, as well as some local and European models which have been monitored during the project to reach the final conclusions.

The students presented their work so far and spoke about the main goals of this project: “Revitalization of the Career Planning Office at FDUT”, where this structure is currently missing. Vice Dean of the Faculty, Dr. Erjon Muharremaj supported the initiative and assured the students that the faculty is working on recruiting staff and reopening these offices. “Very soon, this office will function again in our Faculty and will come to the aid of all our students.”

Meanwhile, Mr. Terihati expressed CLE’s support in the revitalization and good functioning of this office in the future. “The manual of this project was created precisely with this main goal, and it is a step forward to hear that very soon this Office will come to the aid of law students. CLE’s support will be maxial for the functioning of this Office.”

At the end of the meeting, the students also received information leaflets on the Career Planning Offices to have complete information on the function of these offices and how they help each student.
