MSc. Arbesa Kurti is a member of the Board of Directors of the Center for Legal Empowerment (CLE) from December 2021. From the 2015-2016 academic year, she is an external lecturer at the University of Tirana, Faculty of Law. Since 2011, he has been involved in civil society and has assisted in important issues for the protection of human rights, such as the right to housing, the rights of victims, the right to have a lawyer during the criminal process, the rights of employees , environmental protection, the right to information, the right to public consultation, etc., as well as participated and coordinated working groups for the drafting of a series of studies on the above-mentioned rights. As an expert, she has participated in several trainings over the years, related to the law on the right to information, the law on public notification and consultation, the law on legal aid, the Criminal Code, the Code of Criminal Procedure, minors in conflict with the law, etc. . He has also participated in many consultation tables for the drafting of legal acts and has contributed to providing comments and recommendations for various legal and sub-legal acts, especially in the legal package for the reform of the justice system. Ms. Kurti has been a lawyer since 2014 and has been engaged in drafting, defending and representing various high-profile cases in the criminal, civil and administrative fields. She is the author, co-author and part of working groups in many studies and scientific works in various fields of law, including the analysis of criminal offenses in the field of embezzlement of state funds, in the field of taxes, victims' rights, respect for the right to privacy and its relationship with other rights, in the civil and criminal field, etc. which have been presented and published in national and international conferences inside and outside the country. Ms. Kurti completed his Bachelor and Master studies at the University of Tirana, Faculty of Law in 2013 with very high results (awarded with the Gold Medal). In 2014, he completed his studies at the School of Advocacy, and over the years he has participated in courses and trainings in the country and abroad.
