Franc Terihati is the Executive Director of Centre for Legal Empowerment (CLE) form December 2021. Prior to joining CLE, Terihati was the Program Manager of the Programs of Protecting Socio-Economic Rights and Legal Empowerment at the Open Society Foundation for Albania (OSFA) from September 2017. He joined the Foundation as an expert of the OSFA Law Center in April 2017, meanwhile during 2015 - 2017 performed different human rights litigation cases as a member of OSFA Network of Lawyers.
Terihati is a lawyer member of the Albanian National Chamber of Advocates from 2010 and he has an extensive experience in Sports Law, being member of Council of Arbitration for Sport of Albania from November 2011 and Chairman of the Council from June 2017 to December 2017, and arbitrator in the Commission of Appeal of Albanian Football Association from September 2011 to March 2012.
He has written compelling articles, some of which are “Guaranteeing the right to have a legal assistance for the victim/accusing victim during the criminal proceedings”, “Guaranteeing the right to have a legal counsel for the victim / accusing victim during the criminal proceedings”, “Criminal offenses of active and passive corruption in the private sector”, “Execution of tax liabilities to commercial companies that do not have liquidity. Limits of responsibility of shareholders and managers” and published the book “Civil Procedure Law” in 2015.
Terihati is a graduate of the Faculty of Law, University of Tirana.

Has successfully completed her law studies at the Faculty of Law, University of Tirana, and holds a “Master of Science” degree in Law. During the final year of her studies, she completed a three-month internship at the Office of the People's Advocate, where she was involved in analyzing citizen complaints and reviewing human rights violations, which also provided her with valuable insight on institutional processes and frameworks.
Since 2024, has been working as a lawyer at the Centre for Legal Empowerment, actively contributing to the preparation of legal opinions and the handling of court cases in various fields of law, as well as to the representation and protection of the rights and interests of individuals and vulnerable groups.
In addition, she is engaged in providing legal aid through JuristiOnline platform, who offers free legal advice to citizens.
